Ingredients
Main ingredients
  • Beef 200 g
  • Radish 50 g
Optional ingredients
  • Spring onion 10 g
Sauces
  • Soy sauce 1 Tbsp
  • Minced garlic 1 tsp
  • Sesame oil 2 Tbsp

Steps

  • 1.
    Soak the beef in water for about 10 minutes to remove excess blood.
  • 2.
    Thinly slice the mooli and spring onions.
  • 3.
    Heat sesame oil in a pan and add the beef.
  • 4.
    Once the beef is browned, add the sliced mooli.
  • 5.
    Pour in 300 ml of water.
  • 6.
    Add soy sauce and garlic.
  • 7.
    Simmer for 20 minutes and skim off any foam that rises to the surface.
  • 8.
    Add the spring onions just before serving.

Notes

  • You can use this soup as a base for rice-cake soup or dumpling soup.
  • You can add 1 teaspoon of fish sauce, according to your preference.
